MY Stories
I am a Chinese girl who grew up in Beijing, the capital city of China. I am a graduate of University of International Business and Economics.In 2013, I got an amazing opportunity to exchange to University of Victoria.
My Great North Culture Discovery began in Victoria,City of Gardens. I love Canada: the sights, the culture, the language, and of course, the people . Two years later, I have completed a Entrepreneurship specialization in the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business with UVIC. After that I spent 1 Co-op term at World of Duty Free Group as a brand ambassador of GODIVA. I also worked for The Body Shop as a sales assitant. I am now doing my summer Co-op in the travel industry as a sales representative at Kluane RV Kampground.
Weiqi (GO game) is my favorite board game.It's such a fascinated game since the beginning of China with more than five thousand years of history. For me,weiqi is the art of giving and taking in both macro and micro levels. The rules are simple. However it requires good overall trategy and time management skill. I've learned how to improve my process management and how to see a better big picture from this game.
I also like hiking! Hiking doesn't have to be climbing mountains for me. Sometimes I just went to local parks or trails with my firends. I really enjoy the quality time with them. It's relaxation for both my body and my mind.
